This Is The Life of Johnny Depp That You Have Never Seen

Johnny was born in Kentucky and had countless siblings, all supported by his dad (a civil engineer) and their homemaker mother. With this, Johnny's mom was monumental to his success because she is the one who got him his first guitar. 

This movie was an international success that brought upon an entire franchise (which Johnny was continuously a part of), and it is accredited to jump-starting his acting career. Furthermore, even though this was Johnny's first movie (pictured above), it still displayed his immense talent. 

This role is what made Depp internationally famous, and his stardom only rose rapidly from there as every director in Hollywood wanted to cast him in their movies. Even though at the age of 21 Johnny had started his acting career, his main priority was still music. 

Unlike most of Johnny's relationships, the public was never given any reason as to why this couple split, and thousands of fans are still puzzled and wondering how a picture-perfect relationship could end. The ideal part is that Sherilyn and Johnny have at least remained good friends. 

This television series is about a group of LAPD officers who are looking to eliminate some of the crime in the school systems, so they decide to send undercover cops (Depp being one of the primary ones) to attempt to stop the violence. Without 21 Jump Street, Johnny may not have been able to spread his talent as quickly across Hollywood!

Johnny was in his early 20s when this movie premiered in 1985, and overall, it was not a flop at the box office when it was initially released. This film set Johnny up for even more success and it exposed his talent and caught the attention of other directors. 

Even though Johnny had only been professionally acting for six years at this point, he was praised by the director, John Waters, for his accurate display of emotions and the depth of the character. This is another film that continued to skyrocket Johnny into stardom.

At the age of 34, Johnny Depp's most popular movie was Donnie Brasco, which is a film that premiered in 1997 and is considered a mobster movie; Al Pacino, Michael Madsen, and Bruno Kirby were some of Johnny's primary costars in this hit gangster film. 

This movie was the first time that Depp and Brando had ever worked together, and it was the start of many good years of friendship. Don Juan DeMarco was one of Johnny Depp's first classical hit movies, and without it, he wouldn't have been able to build the talent that he now possesses today.

Even though this movie only earned $1 million at the box office, it is an essential part of Johnny's career and represents another example of his extraordinary talent. Some of Depp's costars in this movie included Gary Farmer, John Hurt, Crispin Glover, and Robert Mitchum. 

Johnny Depp was highly invested in this film from the start, and he even spent an entire year living with Hunter S. Thompson to prepare for the movie, which led to a life-long friendship (to the point where Johnny even paid for his funeral). Moreover, this movie was an immense hit when it premiered, and continues to be today. 

Johnny Depp has had countless on-set flings, some turning into intense romantic relationships, casual partnerships, and even marriage. Ellen was one of Johnny's casual dates, especially since he had only shown somewhat of an interest in her while making a film.

Johnny does a phenomenal job of playing this notorious drug dealer who even went as far as to put his family in danger. 

In this movie, Johnny plays the character of Captain Jack Sparrow, a pirate who finds himself washed up without a crew and into a peculiar situation, and Walt Disney was the inspiration behind the series. Additionally, the first film had made over $650 million when it first premiered. 

This isn't one of Johnny's most popular movies, yet it is based on a Stephen King novella, and it continues to display his immense talent at being able to play any character despite the tone of the film or plot. Some of Johnny's co-stars in this film include Maria Bello and John Turturro. 

Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory with Gene Wilder premiered in 1971, and 34 years later, Johnny Depp put his own twist on the story and starred in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Depp played his role so well in 2005 as the chocolate factory owner that if you weren't a Depp fan, you may not have even realized it was him! 

The story of Sweeney Todd originates back to London in the 1800s, so it was only fitting that Tim Burton would collaborate with Johnny Depp to bring the tale to life once more. Furthermore, this dark Victorian-era tale made over $150 million when it first premiered. 

Johnny Depp's costars in this movie included Channing Tatum, Marion Cotillard, Christian Bale, and many more, and they all helped to bring alive the gangster era of the 1930s. Additionally, this movie was a hit at the box office and made over $214 million during its premiere. 

People on the set of Public Enemies stated that there was without a doubt, unbelievable chemistry between Johnny and Marion while they were making the movie. After this, tension arose in Johnny's life, because he was still with his long-time partner Vanessa Paradis at the time. 

Nominations and public appearances like this were and still are extremely common for Johnny Depp, and every year has seemed like a good year for his acting career! If his movies aren't stellar hits when they premiere, they are always deemed 'sleeper hits', eventually becoming cult classics.

Depp illustrates immense talent as he acts out the emotions of Barnabas and all the troubles he has faced. 

Johnny Depp has always proven to be a good friend, so it would be no surprise if he were to attend his friend's celebration as he earned a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame! On this day in 2013, Johnny even went as far as to give a speech about Jerry during the ceremony.

For over a decade now, the Pirates of the Caribbean series has had a fanbase of all ages, from young children to the elderly, which draws Johnny Depp out to even more public events. With this, Depp often makes public appearances as his characters for charity purposes or for sick children. 

As of 2022, Johnny Depp is 58 years old, yet he continues to be the star of cinema, and the public never tires of seeing Johnny Depp in action. Depp is one of the most influential people in the world, and there seems to be no end in sight to all of his glory.

Johnny Depp already got his name on the Hollywood Walk of Fame accompanied by the famous star, yet his career has never peaked and then went downhill, for he has continuously proved to be one of the most talented actors in the world, no matter what role he may be given for a movie.
